Switched to Audiobook since the erudite prose in german and the frequent latin phrases slowed me down. Excellent german narrator.

Gripping. I would have enjoyed this book more if I knew Christian theology. Anyway, it contains several important discussions - if you want to talk about 'the revolutionary instinct' and want to reflect on how it evolved, and the responses to it too.

I frankly could not give a damn about the discussion on 'love' and the inherently misogynistic beliefs of the clergy. Felt one scene was unnecessary, as of now.
