reread this book starting from the beginning. it's fascinating me that I'm resonated by this book much more than the first time I read.

Reading as part of a book club

Was not expecting a reference to the simple living of Mennonites. Sadly, the smart phone addiction has come for most, but I like that Newport has found a few who are still living without screens.
It's true that being a "conscientious consumer" is a big part of Mennonite values, for which I'm grateful.
