OKAY IM REALLY REALLY ENJOYING IT. LIKE I HAVENT ENJOYED A BOOK THIS MUCH SINCE I WAS MAYBE 10. granted ive read maybe 10 books in that span but one scene in particular Literally had me sitting upright mouth agape acting like I was watching a movie which made me realize people who like reading aren't lying when they say they feel like theyre watching a movie. I thought everyone was lying like with shifting in 2020

the biggest issue of the book so far to me is that it can get really in your face sometimes w how cruel drow society is
I think moments where drizzt is shocked at the more outright evil acts would hit harder if we weren't told for like a page before that 'this thing that drizzt is about to experience is gonna be soooo evil' lmao I think it'd be better if u got to live in his shoes a bit more and be shocked yourself
