I really love this dialogue. They're having two conversations at once, just like people often do in real life when they interject a bigger discussion with a "by the way". It feels natural and flows well between them.

And nick is starting this book with a fiancée……

I was excited for this because I really enjoyed the first book (enemies to lovers, hello~) but uh…rn this one is bothering me…

Going to give it a bit more of a chance to see if I get hooked after all, but rn I’m not feeling optimistic…

I’m having…feelings about the way Livie is talking about not being used to experiencing attraction to men and being inexperienced. Maybe I’m overanalyzing this but it feels like could’ve gone an aro-spec route but Everyone Is Straight…… Livie was just too busy working on education/interests to notice guys…

We’ll see how this goes…
