This book is just such a joy to read and I really love it. The characters and everything feel so real to me and endlessly complex and consistent.

Also I'm sarting to feel bad for all 3 of the bastards lol (Odba, Taya, and Éremón)

AND ÍR BECOMING SO BELOVED TO ME??? SUPRISE but the dancing scene was just so special and him grabbing Odba made me smile because I feel so sad for her :(

I actually love this book and the authors writing style so much!! The book feels very different from what I've read before and I personally think it requires a very slow read. It's engaging to keep you coming back and thinking about it but the events itself are very slow and VERY character driven, all the characters and dynamics are explored in different ways and to take time with it let's it all sink in wonderfully

Happy to be rereading one of my all-time favorite books by one of my all-time favorite authors.
