I picked this up after it was recommended because I LOVED My Darling Dreadful Thing.
It’s a page turner, if only because I have grown to like gothic horror and the way those novels are written.
But, there isn’t much character development yet. No backstory really and another timeline was just introduced.
I’m really not sure how I feel yet… and I’m almost 30% through!
