This might be good. Like, possibly REALLY good (if I can excuse 160 pages of lackluster writing that could've achieved its goal in half the time)

No part of me is enjoying this

I'm surprised this book has a 3.99 average on Goodreads. It feels like a little more than a Humanist & Catholic info dump at this point, but I suppose it still has some time to form an actual plot. I'm not DNFing it (I own it on Kindle, and I don't dnf books I own).

Been quite enjoying this ….

Wanted to try the audiobook and I may be hooked - let's see... the opening was more ribald and historical fiction than I expected.
