This is beautifuuuuuull aah. This is why one can jive somewhat with Heidegger's views on biographing philosophers, because you read the work and you fall in love with them. And coming at them through the lens of a person reduces them to their trivial faults and dull virtues. It's in the work that their mind lies.

It's so juicy to read philosophy one can come to grips with algebraically. You're reading the most fascinating subject in the most satisfactory way when it comes to clarity and understanding.

My brain is tired but at least I got validation in the form of my advisor wanting to write to the author about a concern I raised. Feeling very smug about that.
