a woman is stupid and nonsensical when she’s not under the control of a man but she’s capable enough to manipulate him into making foolish political decisions during war. if all you need to convince a man to offer a hostage to your enemy is to say “if you don’t do it then you’re a coward” then i think he might just be dumb.
