Writers are really just trying to sell you something, I’m serious. It’s propaganda for whatever lense they want your worldview to be through. Tell me how it says to be one world, loving, care of humanity.
And then tell you “there are people who are prepared to die for their limited racial and religious causes. They are a negative inspiration” in the same breath. Lol dpmo.

It’s given me mixed feelings so far, manyyyy many lovely quotes within it.
Just aswell many agnostic views of religion and blasphemous remarks. Which shouldn’t affect one who is a firm believer in the fact reading doesn’t equate to endorsement.
You can read a piece and entirely disagree with it despite its literary structure. So far 3and a half stars tbh. Maybe 4 if I’m generous. Which is a lot.
