Cullen seems sympathetic toward Dylan. Depression does not turn you into a mass murderer. Also I hate the idea of referring to Eric and Dylan as “the two.” They are the murders. The shooters. We don’t need a catchy phrase for them. Cullen did some solid mythbusting but way too much focus on molding this tragedy into a marketable narrative and the shooters into neat character archetypes.

This book is so well written and very informative!! I’m just now realizing that what I’ve known about this tragedy wasn’t correct.
