Status Updates From Thaumaturge (The Spellmonge...

It's taking me a long time to get through, because I find all the society building (laws and mundane events) boring. I am mostly interested in Min's family , action, and the major events in the royal and ducal courts. I'm skimming a lot because most of the Magelaw stuff is tedious.

Ok. Way too long for the story

Not crazy about this installment so far. I’m worried this is going to be a lot like Magelord (book iirc) in that rather than advancing the story, it’s essentially a pause in the story and focuses on the mundane development of another town/barony. Lots of talk on establishing trade, improving local economy, and living conditions. Nothing about main story elements.
