Hmmm I both disagree and agree with the author. Yes it’s okay to be critical of a system while still deeming it useful to others. It seems like the author felt rejected by AA then did background research to justify her rejection. This part was less about sobriety and more about the author’s dislike for AA. Plus I feel like she’s wealthy bc one of my fav things abt AA is that it’s FREE! her alternatives arent
