I have changed my mind I don't want to move to Canada!

All of the truly interesting stuff was in the first 11 chapters, now I am looking forward to not reading this book anymore!

I meant to say that I think they should give the ELR program another chance.

The United States is the ONLY country without Universal Health Care. The Jefes de Hogar program sounds like a great program, giving job opportunities to the unemployed who are willing to give their time. I think that we should get this program back up and going; although, I do agree with the author when he says that it wouldn't be a good idea to give wages to people who aren't willing to work. You have to work.

All children have the right to FREE, high-quality early care and education. Apparently, South Korea ranks the highest country for students graduating. NO body drops out for any reason.

People in Sweden and in Finland and over in Europe, THEY ARE GENEROUS! Their people are treated so much better than here.

Taxes, health care, elderly people, and jobs......on and on.

Gender inequalities.

There are too many people that don't want to change the outcomes of those who are living in poverty. So how can there be change? We need to stop cutting taxes on the wealthy people.

I am finding out that there is obviously a bias in this book, but I am finding out how poor the U.S General Welfare State truly is. Also we need more unions to help our people. More opportunity to give people the education that they want and deserve. No place is perfect, but we were told the US is, I am finding this to be an untrue statement.

The United States is NOT generous at all. I never truly realized how we are not as great as everybody says and think we are.

Ok, abandoning for the moment, back onto my to reread pile...professional books that I've been putting off all summer are calling!
