Status Updates From The Magicians

I like books where the characters are a bit insufferable and aren't necessarily good people even if other people don't. I have found that to be a common complaint people make in reviewing this book. Real life is full of complex people that do bad things and make mistakes that unintentionally hurt others all the time. Reading a story full of endlessly flawed characters makes it more interesting and real to me.
