The first chapter does a great job introducing the plot, characters, and setting. The story seems interesting, but I’m still waiting for that mystery or cliffhanger to really hook me. It’s still early, but the pacing feels a little slow. So far, I think I’d enjoy this more as an audiobook while doing other things, since it hasn’t fully grabbed my attention yet.
