I enjoy the writing style because it keeps me pretty interested in the book. I do think that it is taking a while to get to the point which is kinda a struggle. But I do think that it is a good book.

"The August weather continued hot and windy, and the silage corn was drying on its stalk"(Weaver 75). This is a good use of sensory details because it shows the reader what the weather is like in this area and the time of year that this specific event is taking place.
