This book has exceeded my expectations. It was a very informative read that gave me a new perspective on my body as an athlete. Towards the end I started to struggle less with all of the terms that were difficult to understand. Such as the medical terms. Next on my reading list is a book about WW2 or I might check the library. However, I would recommend this book to any young athletes!

I chose this book because as a young, competitive, female athlete I can relate to the topic of REDs and the struggles of athletes. It is very educational and is exceeding my expectations. Sometimes I struggle to understand everything that is said because it is very scientific at times but it is a good challenge. I would recommend this book to any young athlete that wants to improve their performance!
