…. was ehhh hard to follow for me with all the metaphors and grounding it in my personal experiences,. in the modern world. Basically what I got from it was a man believing that was exempt from the beatings of life or the system? so he projects the shame of his powerlessness onto a woman who survives without grief and tries to establish dominance onto her. However, she beats his ass so the rape failed… girl idfk

2nd chapter down 🎉 okay this chapter for sure needs a reread. I was kinda lost and the message wasn’t exactly made clear to me, but thats just me. Not Ms Andrea Dworkin. Whereas the first chapter basically spoke about a mans obsession with moral absolutism and externalizing his shame of his desire (moral impurity) onto women by dehumanizing, objectifying and make them the blame and the cause of it, this ch….

First chapter down.… the book is too good. Unfortunately, my ass is so reactive. So nearly every line in the first chapter triggered a rant that overlapped with other topics of interest and forced me to relive my own experiences, finding ways to make sense of things I believe are true. So what do I think of chapter 1? Overall um it was basically about shit… idek where to begin, my thoughts are frazzeled…
