paris is a bad person, he ditched his wife for ten years to marry helen who was already married to someone else. this caused a war and he only thought of his past wife (oenone) when he was injured and about to die. he never came back because he regretted his decisions and wanted to come back to oenone, they had a son btw, he only came back so she could heal him from his injuries but she said no so he died

i really like this story in greek mythology of paris being forced to choose between 3 goddess to give the apple (its probably the only one i remember anyways)
