That ending… wrapped up real fast. But it was still fun. Im glad Nicol Bolas was humbled and dragged off by his brother Ugin to rot for his remaining mortal life. Though word now is that Jace accidentally freed him. Wonderful. Either way, I had a lot of fun. It wasn’t literary by any means but it’s MTG, im not expecting it. Looking forward to the next one.

Wow Gideon’s sacrifice actually made me cry. Poor Liliana, I’m sure even this wont wipe her slate clean. Nor should it, frankly, but damn.

Damn Dack being dead sucks, considering he had a get out of jail free card earlier. Ah well. We must all make sacrifices for the greater good, I suppose.

I love how gay this is. Still enjoying it. We’re coming to the climactic final battle with Bolas, so this should be interesting.

Honestly Im really enjoying it. It isnt particularly weighty as far as the writing goes honestly but the prose is inoffensive and flows well. The characters arent particularly deep but there’s so many of them, so I’m not expecting much. But it’s fun, and after the shit I just read, I need something fun and light.

I was wondering when the gods of Amonkhet were gonna show up. Guess thats now. Bolas’ plan is… working. Which is scary. But I know how this ends, just not the way it ends. So I’m looking forward to that.

Maybe I just have no taste at all but Im enjoying it so far. It’s not high brow fiction and the writing is pretty simplistic, but I like the characters. And the battle for Ravnica is off to a good start.

Honestly I dont hate it so far? The modern lingo is anachronistic to say the least, but anyways. This is all set-up and Im interested to see how it all blows up LMAO

I’ll be honest, I know very little about MTG, but I am curious enough to read this. So far, I have no opinions. The reviews are DREADFUL but I don’t really follow the herd in that sense. So we’ll see.
