Starting to get a pretty good idea of why the discourse around "g" is such an interminable mess!

Genuinely fascinating so far. First article gets you up to speed on the history of intelligence testing, the second is giving an overview of the tests themselves. Just learned that IQ is not, in fact, any longer a quotient at all—and thank goodness, because the newer method is clearly much better.
