Status Updates From Captivated

Maybe I will finish this afterall, I hate DNFing books unless I really can't bring myself to read it. Plot seems to be picking up a tiny bit.

Kinda losing interest. This started off great but now the mcs are just obsessively having sex and even the other characters want to kill them for being so horny.

Also I can't help but not like them all when they're being so nice to him and coddling him when they plan on just handing him over for $$$ in the end.

I can't. This book is not for me. I have nothing against teenage innocence when it comes to sex, but Lanu's childlike behaviour and comprehension is pulling me out of the story. I also dislike the band of thieves, their dynamic, and how they talk. I'm usually a fan of banter and sarcasm, but for some reason I find this annoying to no end.
Sorry, book, you're going on my DNF shelf.

Hmm... I don't know what to think after the second chapter. This is very different from The Conqueror, which I loved. I'm annoyed at the way Colin and his gang talk. Like it's making me not take them seriously... Oh well, pressing on.
