Status Updates From Player Reached the Top, Boo...

15 minutes in and I'm really not feeling it. It starts with like 5 minutes of backstory exposition before our actual first scene and even that is a brief setup so the MC can learn about the *~revolutionary~* new game that will make its players big bucks. So the otherwise broke dude takes out loans and calls in favors to get the stuff to play the game to make big bucks to...get out of debt. This isn't tracking.

I found this book enjoyable, but I was listening and trying to follow along in the book and they did not match, close but not the same. I liked the the MC was dropped in an area that was way of leveled for him, and yet he still thrived. The need of stuff from his friends on lower levels was a nice touch.
