Time for a little darkness with three of my favorite guys

I loved this series at the beginning but the writing style is starting to get old. Repetitive. I'm halfway through and it seems like the story is barely getting going and I'm skimming a lot.

I think the author is spending too much time having character self-analyze and those analysis are confused an emotional (which is not necessarily a bad thing in proportion).

“Bourbon?” Jan whispered back, and Gray cocked a smile.
“Man after my own soul.”
Jan eased into a long breath. “I’ll settle for the man, because the bastard always did belong to someone else.”

Damn. I just started crying at that. 😭

So in love with Raif and Ash. Damn.

Know your disorders, mate. There's no room for voices in with all that ego.

Gotta love Martin! *snort*

This book is killing me! I'm not going to go to bed tonight without finishing it!

Poor Jan. I really do love his character. He's breaking my heart but I have a feeling he's got some things planned that just might work out.
