I already walk slowly because of birding, but now I get to walk even slower!!
Walking around home is much more interesting now. There's honestly too much information to apply, but knowing broadly what to look out for gives me a renewed connection to this place.
This book mentions plenty of specific phenomena and plant species, so I'm finding the first read dense, but he does a good job of not being overwhelming.
