I don't quite like this new character's voice (sometimes, his choice of references...) but I do really like how it's a bit, quite, casually, perfectly, understandably, logically different from the POVs in book 1. Of course those characters sounded like that, of course these sound like this!

Another part from the parasite virus, I wonder if it’ll eventually get to the computer Kern and then mess things up. Even though Voyager seems in contact with Portia, Meshner ( I think) is basically being taken over through his mind. I just wonder if it’s the complex personalities of the computer wanting r be human or the virus
