A misleadingly titled story as the main character grows increasingly feral after divorce splits her family in half.

This story about an epidemic where people can’t sleep anymore is definitely the most unique story I’ve come across in as long as I can remember.

Opening the collection with a body horror story that’s unique because of the utter lack of psychological drama behind the person telling the story.

I might have to take a break from short story collections, at least those with horror themes. The books and authors are starting to blend together 😅

This reminded me a bit of Out There and Bunny which I really enjoyed.. I really like a bit of surrealist body horror but featuring a few divas who are also invested in their graduate studies
4. Formerly feral
Pleasantly surprised that this avoided direct family conflict tropes and that the freaky sisters were a team
