I'm letting this one on stand-by for a while.
Until now I have really liked it even though it wasn't perfect and there were some rolling eyes moments. So. I reached a part that I truly think would have been an amazing ending. I was satisfied! But then I read the next chapter. And realised I was just half through the book. And no, I just don't want to keep reading... At least not right now.

Really enjoying this sci-fi romance series. The non-humans in this tome are striking looking with their skin colors, and I'm also appreciating the human heroine being strong, stubborn and not-white. Diversity "training" may have started with a love of sci-fi!
