The Councillor's Visit - Goddard: What a wonderfully awkward story, haha.
Yard Dog - Thompson: That was a good one. Jazz and otherworldly beings.
Dark Shells - Whitely: Good but depressing. Nice structure to it.
Coruvorn - Oliver: I both liked and was annoyed by this story. Upper-class British wankers bug me.
Godziliad - Roberts: Retelling the Godzilla movie but in epic poem format. Awesome.

The Small Island - Parry: More of a horror story, creepy end.
A Gift of Tongues - McQuade: Somehow not as creepy as before, but really captures an interesting dynamic.
Velocity - Swainston: Interesting story (with exciting chariot race)! Part of her Castle series, I think.
Counting the Pennies - Hughes: Both cute and amusing, loved it.

We Can Make Something Grow Between the Mushrooms and the Snow - Logan: Wow, uh, I love the format, but that went pretty dark if I understand the implications right...
Boys - Hudson: This woman is doing some weird shit.
The Farm at the World's End - McClory: A very short story, but full of emotion.
The Prevaricator - Hughes: Amusing Vancian pastiche.

12 Answers Only You Can Question - Warner: Surreal and confusing, but I liked it.
The Woman Who Turned into Soap - Dhindsa: A lot going on here. Also confirms my suspicions about too much lotion.
Mushroom Speed Boosts - Reynolds: First story I've ever read featuring Mario Kart. Great.
The Guile - McDonald: Fantastic stage magic story.
The Moss Child - Fransson: Lovely tale of parental love.

There's a Witch in the Word Machine - Fagan: A nice poem about magic in writing.
We Are Now Beginning Our Descent - Devlin: Magical realist, I think--what a strange deathwish.
The Dance of a Thousand Cuts - Hogan: Be good, but not too good.
A Son of the Sea - Sharma: I really liked this tale, despite its odd ending.
To Look Upon His Works - Barker: Always support the arts.
