Great love letter to the Buffalo and Niagara area. Having grown up and spent my life in the area it was a beautiful way to picture the area in that era. The story was good but very sad. A good book for a first novel. A bit longer of a read as it was very descriptive, though not a bad thing, just a heavier read.
