Status Updates From My Friends Call Me Monster ...

I feel sad about marking 80 pages after both Dolly Parton and Tim Curry just died at that age. That's the bad news. The good news is that today is the 2nd day in a row that I read 3 times in 1 day.

In abstract this plot is way more Bailey Street School, but I do appreciate how some of the entries in this series are elevating these rote plot lines and making them feel way more visceral with the scares and gross out imagery. It feels like a fitting way to update these books for a new generation and maybe a bit more creepy crawlers pilled sensibility
