The Last Days of Miss Dorinda Molyneaux
This was a really good one. Has some good build up and some genuine scary bits.
Really liked the ending too. Wpukd had made a good longer story too.

THE DEATH OF WIZARDS
A very short and simple story. Mot bad and a take on the classic, be careful what you wish for! Enjoyed that one.

THE CREATURE IN THE HOUSE
This was probably the best story in the book so far. Love the build up and the idea of the creature feeding off the women's minds.
And clever inclusion of the cats, like a mad cat lady!
Was quite disappointed that it ended when it did. But really enjoyed that short story.

GIFT FROM THE SEA - Well, that was a shame. This story starts out so well. The descriptions, the characters, the setting all felt real and engaging... and the story ends! Felt like he was building towards a grander story, but gave up and just said... the end! Like I say, a shame as was enjoying it up until then.

A NOSE AGAINST THE GLASS
An interesting little story. Set at Christmas, which always makes for a good ghostly setting.
I liked the build up and the way you know the main character fully by the end.
A good finish, but if a little abrupt.
One of the better stories in the book so far.

THE WOOLWORTH SPECTACLES - An odd but intriguing short with some interesting twists. Again, not a great ending, but well described and interesting characters. One of the better shorts in the book so far.

THE NIGHT OUT - That was a disappointing end to an interesting story. Was liking the characters and the build up... and then it just ends. And nothing. Oh well, started off ok.
