Status Updates From If Beale Street Could Talk

I am finding it really hard to like this book :( I don’t really care about the characters and I feel like Tish is really poorly written :/ She has no goals, no character development, NOTHING!! All her character does is either miss Fonny, talk about Fonny, or trying to carry Fonny’s child on her own. It’s very disappointing. Also the book is really vulgar and I’m not liking the writing style
