The pacing and foreshadowing is all messed up in this book. Wrong Way Home was so good that I took a chance on a few other books by the authors, but the pacing is.. I just can't. I'm gonna DNF at this point because I hope this series can redeem itself but there's not much that can make up for the slow and then super sonic speed of events

The pacing of this book is strange, I'm a little frustrated with it. Several chapters are used to describe one day and then it's two months later and nothing else paranormal has happened to them.. I'm just not feeling the build up and important events seem to come at random

Lil I get it, I read stories about gay men repressing their urges and religious beliefs blah that’s fine but the entire demon possessed part is what I won’t take. Making it a literal demonic possession for him to have gay sex is fucking stupid to me. Someone tell me this gets better please?

Idk why I am reading this. A self hating priest is not up my alley because it’s just obnoxious to me. Then the non-consensual demon possessed gay sex is like really not it. Like we are really making it like homosexuality is a sin with this crap. I’m just rolling my eyes wtf am I reading.
