Status Updates From D-day: de dag die de wereld...

SETTING: In my book the first time takes place in the year 1944 and in Normandy, France. The story then flips to a girls in a small village called Villers-Bocage in northern France. One of the current scenes she in in a train tunnel. The last setting flips to a boy named James who lives in Winnipeg. In this scene he is at forks market.

GENRE: The genre of my book is historical fiction it focuses on 2 stories. The first one is a boy named Dee and he has all the weight from world war II. Dee is trying to hide the fact that he is secretly a German. The second story focases on a girl named Samaria. Samaria is a spy who Is trying to sabbatoge the German army.

My niece is reading this for school so I thought I'd join her. Not sure 7th graders are going to see some of the similarities that are still happening today but I'd love to discuss with her!
