VISUALIZATION: I could picture Dee about to fall out of the ladder and fall into the ocean and get crushed by the ships colliding in my mind while reading. The text says, “Dee dropped like a stone toward the cold black english channel” (Aland Gratz, page # 1). This helped me picture his almost brutal demise drowning in the English channel.
