Status Updates From Winter's Rising (Dystance #1)

As the story progresses, there is a large amount of character development. From a basic girl living in a poor town, the main character Winter has gone through months of hardship and military training, becoming the best fighter in town and also healing relationships between them and the brokers. Her friends, on the other hand, don't fair as well. It will be interesting to see their development.

The story started off with a bang, the main character Winter, is wandering around in the woods of distance with her friend. They are suddenly confronted by a pack of wild dogs, they have to fight the ferocious bear-like creatures as they try to find food in the scarce and harsh landscape in colorado.
