Because I just finished The Mark of the Rose, now I have to go back and reread every that came before.

Really, for an ebook that was supposedly revised and edited by the author, these typos are wearing thin.

Well, I can see why Canham would want to edit/revise/re-write this one. I would too. Slow going. Interesting plot, but, the characters don't stay in character. Particularly the (h) China Rose. Makes for very disjointed reading.

Canham has created a lead character in the aristocracy, Sir Ranulf Fitzhenry Cross, who is so egotistical, arrogant, and despicable...I can't wait until he falls off his lofty pedestal...I can't stand him
