Status Updates From Sisters of War

This one didn’t quite land for me. While the backdrop and themes had potential, I found it hard to connect with any of the characters, which made it difficult to feel emotionally invested in their journeys. The story leaned heavily into drama, and at times it felt a bit overdone rather than earned.

The point of view for this was hard for me to like at the beginning, because it goes from sister to sister. But it gets better.
I didn’t know a book could cause me so much heartache but it did.
