Almost done and this is definitely going to be a rave review ... if you love political intrigue, epic battle scenes and light romance .... and the added bonus of real historial events ... pick up this book!!

All I’m saying is that this book only has 11 ratings and it’s sooo good. It deserves many more! I keep having to remind myself that this is actual History and not some epic fantasy novel. It says Trilogy, but I don’t see any updates on future books. I’m really hoping for more.

The beginning is plagued with pretty purple prose which was confusing and made it hard to place the action. I get the gist of the story though. I think. There was also a weird tense shift that I have racked my brain trying to figure the meaning in ... and have come to a blank on the matter. 🤷🏻‍♀️
