Status Updates From A Farewell to Arms

Should be called: “Farewell to literature” as it’s poorly written, repetitive and banal in places but nonetheless an interesting insight into a little known theatre of the First World War that is the Austrian/Italian alps

The dialogue crackles beautifully in most places, and the descriptions for the most part, don’t stay their welcome. The small almost stream of consciousness speed of thought sections tend to be a bit onerous, however.
