My classes are back, so my time for reading greatly diminished, took a break to get back to SP's journals and although the events are repetitive there's some comfort in the monotony, plus the eventual insights into her work. She just used the "bell jar metaphor" for the first time in a 1952 entry, 11 years before the publication of the book.
