Status Updates From Tracce di sangue, Vol. 3

The art is brilliant! The watercolor painting of Sei with the red wash resembling blood at the start of chapter 19 is so good! I really really love Shuzo Oshimi’s art style, it’s wonderful.

I feel so bad for Seiichi, the poor child is getting traumatized day after day! Lock Seiko up oh my god.

This chapter (Chapter 21: Confrontation) has been rough! Between Sei’s stuttering and inability to speak and Shigeru’s mother being so gentle and forgiving (without knowing the full truth) I’ve teared up a few times. Shuzo Oshimi draws the facial expressions in such a way that they’re very subtle changes yet their effect on the story (and by extension on the reader) is tremendous! It’s so good!

I feel so bad for Seiichi. This is so intense.
