Status Updates From Sweet Sleep

I am loving the rich tapestry of writing within this book. The funeral scene literally had me crying ... In a public place, at that. The dream Kayn shared with her sister's essence was full of images and magic, then it plummeted us into darkness and back up again. Now Kayn is waking into the real world to find her school chum on his way to being a man and herself on the cusp of 17.

I must admit, it was hard to follow the first 20%, but boy is it getting interesting now : )

The author promised I would cry ugly, be destroyed, and traumatised. Sounds like my kind of party - I have high hopes going into this Kim!

writing style is a little confusing but it's good
