I thought the tone would make this more interesting but it makes it feel more trivial

I think my main problem with this book is that it is, by necessity, a lot of speculation and I just don't feel super grounded in the facts.

This is a little tough because of how many people share names, which isn't really something the author can help. I appreciate her calling out modern examples of similar political moments so I can better understand the impact of these actions.
