"Self-deliverance" is quite an expressive euhemism, and it gets repeated quite a bit. The repetitiveness in some areas is understandable, but that specific term makes me think the author is applying a self-righteous tone whenever it appears.

I was actually trying to check out "Final ExitS" on the Libby app, and stumbled upon this one.
The author basically says "if you're part of the religious right, you should stop reading this book now." But you're not my supervisor, Mr Humphry- and I don't like the way you spell your name. =P
