Goodnes Gracious, this book is horrendously bad. I'll try to sprint it, read it as fast as I can, so I can more to a better book. The author is so biased that by this point there's not a single word she writes that you could believe, even if you wanted to.

The parts where the author inserts her personal story are boring and pointless. They are nothing more than her trying to insert herself in the story.

It's so hard to read, when it's so bias-ridden

Pretentious and unreliable in the tone of the author. Long pseudo poetic imaginings paint a narrative and are closed with "at least that's how I imagine it". The author should have written a novel, if the concept of thorough reasearch is so clearly foreing to them.

I'm finding this book problematic from the get-go. Starting with witches gathered to hex Brett Kavanaugh, and then listing "key terms" that are being defined in a profoundly biased way, it's troublesome.

Unfortunately I will be dnfing this book. It’s not bad and I’ve enjoyed what I’ve read so far but since it is taking a while and I want to catch up on my reading goal, I will not be finishing this book soon. I would recommend picking it up if you want to switch things up. It was interesting, but as I would like to bet my yearly record of 61 books that I hit last year, I will be leaving this one behind.

This is different from what I expected going into it but so far I think this is an interesting approach to these women’s stories that are unfamiliar to me

Decided to divert my next read and to read a different genre instead of reading within the same genre but a different author for my next read. I am looking forward to this one and what I might learn about the past through this insightful book
