I have lost all my motivation in this book … in this moment I’m just continuing for the stats ….

The audio version does not say it is abridged, but you can tell that parts have been edited out, even though there are references to those parts later in the book. Wish I had known this before starting the story. Marina Sirtis isn't the best narrator, but the story is good and her narration improves further into the story.
