i know this came out in 2019 but the writing style is so nostalgic to me, it reminds me a lot of the ya books i grew up with and it's lowkey healing my inner child lol

finally reading the first book on my goodreads tbr! it was marked as “want to read” in september 2019… 🫣

I picked this book up randomly at the library, and didn't think much of it at first. Violet seemed like an interesting main character, but not one that would rival some of my favorites from Deadline or The Perks of Being a Wallflower. However, I was proven wrong. Drake has written all of these characters in such a compelling way that I don't have enough characters to type it all out.
