I like the historical journey in chapter 2 of how they found out about the world being a globe, latitude and longitude. (Greek guy measuring the sun at one spot and another to measure the curve/angle.)

There's so little about this actual expedition and much more about similar expeditions that came before and general history of the area. It's all interesting stuff but it makes me feel like the title, subtitle, and description somewhat hoodwinked me.
